Can individuals in the residential program go home for overnight visits?
Yes. There is a 20 night limit per individual per calendar year if Title XIX is paying for the placement. Individuals can receive visitors as determined by their parent/guardian.
Do parents give up parental rights when they place their child?
No. Parents retain all rights. Placement is considered voluntary.
Are the individuals involved in the community?
Yes. They participate in a variety of activities. Some examples include dining out, movies, school events, parks, swimming, church, etc.
Do the children go to school?
Yes. The children attend the Creston Community School.
What is the staff to individual ratio?
We have one staff member per each two individuals that reside in the homes. This may vary according to each individual's needs.
